1. Use of Personal Information

NSENG will acquire and use personal information only as needed for the performance of its business according to its business purposes. The business purposes of handling personal information are:

1. To arrange and engage in applications for transactions between NSENG and its customers and other parties concerned with NSENG's businesses; obtain confirmation regarding customers and other parties concerned; review and assess the aforesaid transactions; execute and manage agreements; and conduct contractual proceedings with customers and contractors such as contract termination, etc.
2. To issue notices regarding the improvement of NSENG's products and services and associated products and services, and to respond to customer inquiries regarding such products and services.
3. To respond to inquiries about products and services provided by parties in business relations with NSENG
4. To confirm applications for and participation in various workshops organized by NSENG, and also to provide visitors with access to NSENG's facilities

6. To prepare, file, and manage joint patent applications derived from the associated businesses of NSENG.

8. To communicate and conduct transactions with public accountants, attorneys, and patent attorneys in relation to the business activities of NSENG.
9. To communicate with the officers, directors, employees, or any related persons in NSENG's parent company and affiliates in the course of performing business activities other than those stated above.
10. To issue notices to retired NSENG employees and communicate with the families of NSENG employees.
11. To exchange necessary information between NSENG and its cooperative, temporary workers in the execution of contracts with them and the performance of their works.
12. To receive personal information provided for the performance of any order-based works and to complete such works within the scope of NSENG's business.
13. To issue useful notices incidental to the above purposes of use from NSENG and its group companies.

NSENG may provide personal information to a third party with the approval of each respective individual, consign the handling of personal information, or share personal information with any of NSENG's parent companies or any of NSENG's affiliates, to the extent that such personal information is required for the business purposes stated above.
If any personal information is acquired or used for any business purposes other than those described above, a notice or announcement will be issued separately.

2. Personal Information Management

NSENG will take necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the security of the personal information it possesses and will endeavor to keep the contents of such personal information as accurate and up-to-date as necessary for its business purposes.
Personal information that is no longer necessary for business purposes will be disposed of promptly by an appropriate method.

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

NSENG will not provide the personal information of any person to any third party without such person's approval, except in the following cases:

1. the provision of the personal information will be suspended upon an individual's request, and all matters related to the provision of personal information provided for in the Personal Information Protection Act will be disclosed to such person or otherwise made easily knowable by such person;
2. the work of handling personal information may be entrusted to any third party, in whole or in part, to the extent necessary for NSENG's business purposes.
3. when the handling of personal information is entrusted to a third party, NSENG will enter a confidentiality agreement with the entrusted company and provide necessary and appropriate supervision of the entrusted company
4. NSENG may disclose the personal information of any specific person with any of NSENG's parent companies to the extent necessary for business purposes.
5. when NSENG discloses personal information of any specific person to any of NSENG's parent companies, the nature of the disclosed personal information, the purposes of the disclosure, and the name of the party responsible for managing the personal information will be disclosed to or otherwise made easily knowable by the person whose personal information has been disclosed; and
6. when the disclosure of personal information to any third party is otherwise authorized under any applicable law or regulation.

The Handling of Personal Information on the Website
